I'm a local artist specialising in engraved prints. Engraving is one of the oldest forms of printmaking, and I create my signature black and white artwork using traditional techniques. Each piece of work is hand-drawn, hand-engraved and hand-printed, so you are buying an original piece of artwork, not a reproduction. Helen Cowdy Artist
I take inspiration for my paintings and lino prints from the natural world, and in particular my love of mini-beasts. Through my canvas paintings I recreate their beauty, colour and form. All my work is original and hand made, from the mini-beast gouache paintings, using tiny brushes and a steady hand, to hand-carved and printed lino editions depicting the UK's flora and fauna. I take commissions for both paintings and lino prints.
