Corsham Creative Market Celebrates 10 Years with Biggest Event Yet and Surprise Competition
On Saturday 7th June, Corsham Creative Market celebrated its 10-year anniversary with its biggest market yet. The event took over four halls of the Springfield Community Campus in Corsham and welcomed more than 700 visitors.

The market featured 52 handmade stalls offering locally made art, accessories, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork and more. A dedicated food hall showcased freshly made cakes, Norwegian delicacies, local cheeses, breads, and chillis.

Visitors enjoyed browsing the stalls while listening to live performances by Trowbridge Ukulele Strummers, Viva Vocals, and Choired For Sound. A dedicated craft workshop hall offered sessions for all ages, including monster painting, flower arranging, crochet, jewellery making, and air-dry clay activities.

A highlight of the day came at 2:30pm, when organiser Nicola Davis revealed that all stalls had been secretly judged throughout the day, with several in line to win top prizes. Judges included Ali Haynes from The Corsham Gallery, Sarah Leigh from Corsham Town Council, Heidi Westall from Springfield Community Campus, and Nicola Davis herself.

Winner of the top prize—a framed certificate and engraved glass trophy—Ginnie Burns said:
“I am absolutely over the moon with my lovely award and truly honoured to have been chosen! There were so many fabulous stalls at the market, I still can’t believe it. It’s so easy to doubt yourself when surrounded by so much talent, so this has been an amazing confidence boost. Thank you from the bottom of my heart—I'm still buzzing! Nicola and her team really look after their traders. I feel so lucky to be part of this amazing community. You are all awesome!”

Organiser Nicola Davis reflected:
“Saturday was a whirlwind. Ten years of our wonderful market—and what a way to celebrate it! A huge thank you to Springfield Community Campus for hosting us for a decade. Thanks also to my mum, dad, and Sam for all their hard work, both on the day and behind the scenes—and of course to our secret judges! To have started this event at 18, survived a global pandemic, and come out bigger and better than ever feels amazing.”
