I'm a local artist specialising in engraved prints. Engraving is one of the oldest forms of printmaking, and I create my signature black and white artwork using traditional techniques. Each piece of work is hand-drawn, hand-engraved and hand-printed, so you are buying an original piece of artwork, not a reproduction. Every single piece I create is individually tinted, fired and hand-painted, which means that each one is a unique piece of glass art, even though it may only be a tiny suncatcher on a card. I work in a tiny garden studio in Frome, experimenting with glass powder and paint, keeping my waste to a minimum by tinting my own glass and painting for detail. Much of my inspiration comes directly from the surrounding Somerset and Wiltshire countryside, where I walk my dog everyday.

Pottingshed is inspired by Beatrix Potter. I love her stories and have visited her home in the Lake District, so I started knitting Rabbits, Foxes, Hedgehogs, Mice and many more animals. I love making the outfits, each knitted friend becomes just that " a friend ". During the first Lockdown due to Covid 19 I created an NHS Bunny, to my surprise orders flooded in enabling me to make a donation to the NHS. The new material has allowed me to push the boundaries more than when I use concrete and I love it.
